  3. Goals • Promote artistic excellence • Provide cultural enrichment for the local community and visitors alike • Support economic development for emerging and established artists • Offer collecting opportunities for art patrons, connoisseurs, interior designers, businesses and builders

  5. History • NAA founded in 1954 • The von Liebig Art Center opened in 1998

Local Impact of the Arts • Arts/culture in Collier County reach 1 million people, including 20,000 attending education programs • Cultural tourists spend the most money, averaging $349/day vs $291/day • Cultural tourists stay longer in hotels, averaging 16.7 days vs 10.3 days • Arts economic impact on the local economy is $175 million

  8. Achieving the Mission We achieve our mission through the following core programs: Education Exhibitions Festivals Special Events Art Resource Library

  9. Education • Studio art classes • Master Artist workshops • Lunch With the Arts lecture series • Lectures by nationally-known artists • ARTScool summer camp

  10. Art Resource Library • Library houses 2,200 fine arts books, 225 videos/DVDs and an assortment of fine arts periodicals • Free and open to the public • Lending privileges for NAA members

  11. Exhibitions • Annually hold 16-18 original on- and off-site exhibitions by established and emerging artists • Permanent collection of works by Florida artists • Members’ Gallery • Free admission to all vLAC galleries

  12. Festivals • Naples National Art Festival held each February (voted in the top 20 nationally) • Naples Renaissance Fall Art Festival held each November • Art in the Park held six times each winter for over 50 years

  13. Special Events • Collecting opportunities/fundraisers featuring nationally-known artists • Nuts About The von Liebig family program and Scholastic Book Sale • Goddess Night

  14. Rentals • Distinctive location for weddings, meetings, team building exercises • Children’s birthday parties feature Super Science & Amazing Art • Community supporter offering free site rentals to partners
