Methodology • West Virginia Kids Count Fund administered paper questionnaires before and after delivery of the Early Literacy Toolkit, as well as collected and tabulated all data. • Not all questions were answered on the questionnaires, resulting in varying sample sizes for each question. • WIC Participants: Pre Test: Maximum of 2,480 completed questionnairesPre Test maximum sampling variation of +/- 1.96 percentage points Post Test: Maximum of 1,518 completed questionnairesPost Test maximum sampling variation of +/- 2.5 percentage points. Both at the 95% confidence level. • Family Day Care Providers: Pre Test: Maximum of 59 completed questionnairesPre Test maximum sampling variation of +/- 12.8 percentage points Post Test: Maximum of 33 completed questionnairesPost Test maximum sampling variation of +/- 17.1 percentage points. Both at the 95% confidence level.
