Background & Purpose • Background: • The document ERCOT and QSE Operations Practices During the Operating Hour has been updated to help synchronize it to current Nodal Protocol requirements and system implementation • The updated v5.3 is posted at http://www.ercot.com/mktrules/bpm/ • Purpose: • These slides are meant to highlight the updates included in v5.3

Updates – Overview • New Content: • Section 2 was updated with information on: • SCED Base Point Below HDL (SBBH) flag • How HEL/HSL/LSL/LEL values are used • Section 3 was updated with information on: • Dynamic Ramp Rates (DRRs) • SBBH flag • Resource Limit Calculator (RLC) • Provisions for WGRs, QSGRs, and SGRs
