  2. Based on the description of Mr. Anderson what is his view/opinion of the trees? Based on the description in the story Mr. Anderson probably doesn’t really care about them. He only wants them for the money.

  3. Who is the antagonist in this story, particularly in this scene? • The antagonist in this story or in the scene on page 514-515 is Mr. Anderson.

  4. Why is mama standing up to Mr. Anderson ? • Mama is standing up to Mr. Anderson because he trying to cheat them and threating them and he is trying to intimidate them because there woman.

  5. What does Mr. Andersen's words reveal about his character? • Mr.Andersens words reveal that he cheats people out of what stuff is really for, and he is mean and rude.

  6. summarize what has just taken place. • Mr. Anderson is trying to trick Caroline and mama b/c there girls and trying to give 65 $ for the trees.

  7. What can you tell about mammas character from this conversation? • That she is very confident and she stands up for what she believes in.
