  2. Setting and Atmosphere L.O. – To create an effective setting and atmosphere for a gothic story.

  3. Comparative and superlative Comparative – a comparative form of an adjective e.g. X is better than Y A is faster than B Superlative – the most absolute form of an adjective e.g. X is the best A is the fastest

  4. Close up shot – fills the frame with emotion.

  5. Mid shot – this shows the person from the waist up; showing some emotion and some background detail.

  6. Long shot – this shows the person and the action going on behind

  7. Low angle shot – makes the person seem bigger and more threatening

  8. High angle shot – makes the person appear small and vulnerable
