Travel and transport The delegations will be welcomed by LOC on their arrivals at following places • By air: 2 international airports, Lyon Saint Exupéry, Genève CointrinBy train: high speed train till Bourg Saint Maurice (32kms) Public buses + dedicated buses shuttle for the 7 days of event Car rental company: Avis, Europcar • By Car: highway to Moutiers(60 kms)

FITA field championship shuttle • Pick up • Geneva Airport : 3h • Lyon Airport: 3h10 • Chambery Railway station: 2h • Bourg Saint Maurice Station: 45’ • This service will be : • Delivered by a partner coach company • On service for official arrival / departure days • On pre-registration basis only • To be paid (price communicate in the official invitation)

  8. Car free event Val d’Isère: Keep the objective to live a car free event in this authentic environment: - All facilities in 10’ walking maximum - Free shuttles for officials and participants

Accommodation Hotels: Among the total capacity of 2500 beds, the hotels open all summer season long • 4*: 60 rooms • 3*: 171 rooms • 2*: 94 rooms • Apartments: 3799 beds available in the agencies • Apartment hotel: 4580 beds in total • Private : 574 beds • One camping Package all in one possible: hotel services, summer activities, lift tickets. All at less than 10’ walking to the field. Parking for free in the summer season

  11. 3 Courses Venue of “la Daille”: 2 courses on one ring along the river and in the wood, a real natural place. Maximum 80m vertical drop. The spectators are behind the line of shooting • Warm up area: 15 targets (5 to 60m) • Course 1: 24 targets • Course 2: 24 targets Bellevarde venue : • Located in the village of Val d’Isere. Famous place of the World Skiing Championships. • Venue of the finals within the leisure park. Maximum spectators visibility • Course 3 ( individual finals): 2x4 targets Targets fawofield or other – complete signposting system Score board and TV wall

Facilities • Equipment repair booth with partners of event • First aid: local first aid and firemen division • Food and beverage: temporary bar and permanent restaurant (capacity for all officials) • Storage close to registration place and rest area • Access for wheel chair: course 1 & 3 • Other sport activities: mountain walking ( lift open), swimming pool and wellness center, tennis, horse riding, fishing, Via Ferrata • Toilets

  16. Regulations • International Judges: travel and local living expenses charged to the local OC according to the FITA rules. • FITA event team and officers: accommodation delivered according to the FITA rules. • Antidoping: contract with the “AFLD” l’Agence Française de Lutte antidopage (World Ski Championships, Tour de France…)

  17. Administration • Liability insurance contracted by the LOC • Official invitation by LOC for visa. • No specific regulations for importation of bows and arrows in France. • Medical insurance contracted for LOC staff and collaborators; each FITA member associations must present a significant medical insurance for their officials. (EC members use the E111 form)

  18. Communication plan • Production of official logo • Posters and flyers in the clubs, shops and cities around • Bill boarding 4x3 • Radio campaign on regional channel • Special insert (tabloid) in regional newspaper • Reportage in national archery magazine • Press releases • Regional TV sponsorship • Production for news access (all channel) • Web site : Space in the Club des Sports website www.valsport.com
