EGR 100 Course Format • Flipped lecture format – began Fall 2014 • Pre-lecture reading assignments & proficiency quizzes (D2L) • Lecture review/reinforcement with in-class activities • Memo format writing assignment every lecture (15 mins) • Collected papers replaced in-class iClicker quizzes • Labs use pre-lecture & lecture materials in project format • Assignments & non-report submitted work in memo format • All electronic submissions checked for originality (TurnItIn) • Sub-standard writers referred to Engineering Writing Lab CoRe Experience
