Time Warner Cable and Comcast: Disproportionate Dependence on High Speed Data Gross Margins Time Warner Cable depends on High Speed Data for 52% of its total gross margin, yet HSD is only 27% of revenues. Comcast’s numbers are less (38% of total gross margin but only 24% of total revenues), namely due to in-sourcing vs outsourcing for voice (TWC outsources their voice which lowers their gross margin).
