DMS Regional Medical Treatment Center Patient Name: Simpleton, Mach N. Doctor Attending: M. Hollingsworth Doctors Participating: Med 8 Class
Case History • Patient entered DMS RMTC on 2/26/2010 • Chief Complaint was pain in the following areas • Cranial • Thoracic • Appendages • Noticeable side-effects • Profuse and continuous nosebleed • Unable to use appendages to lift objects • Incontienence
Your Task • To take vitals of Mr. Simpleton and give him a diagnosis as well as a prognosis • Start assessing the patient beginning with the cranial area first • Make sure that you completely assess each area before you move to the next area
Advice from the Attending Surgeon • Mr. Simpleton is a very unique individual • To completely assess his wounds, you must rank your diagnosis in terms of numbers • One is the lower rating you can assign • You will use the following formula to rank your diagnosis • M.A. = ED/LD • Notice there are no units involved, so just give me a number so that I can adequately asses both his as well as your progress in becoming a successful doctor

Treatment • Please provide Mr. Simpleton with a prescription to help his condition improve • Use the prescription pads in front of you and write down the ranking (M.A.) value for each of the main areas (cranial, thoracic, appendages) • Circle the one that has the highest number • This is the one that we need to give 100 percent efficiency in treatment.
