Engage • Create a connection • You have about 10 seconds • Give the viewer a reason to learn more
What do you want to say? • Solve a problem • Keep messaging short and punchy message • Intrigue first, then offer the details
How do you want to say it? • Interview • Animation • Host • Dramatization
Be authentic • Casual tone • Interview footage • Why is it better? • Don’t try to script authenticity
Show, don’t tell • Be clear and simple • Show it, don’t say it • Consider a scene or b-roll to enforce or shorten narration
