The Earth–Moon–Sun System Rotation turning, or spinning, of a body on its axis. Earth = 24 hours day and night Revolution motion of a body, along a path around some point in space. Earth = 365 days or 1yr • Perihelion time in January when Earth closest to the sun. • Aphelion time in July when Earth is farthest from the sun.
Activity • You will create a vocabulary picture booklet using the 18 vocabulary words in your glossary. • You need to draw a picture with COLOR for each vocabulary word in your glossary. • You cannot use words in your picture • When you are done you will cut out each picture and staple it together like a booklet.
