First step • C-choose something that interest you • choose topic- Prepare a governing questions, form a hypothesis and narrow the topic.
Second step • P- prepare • Prepare a working bibliography (a works cited list) three books one magazine one online sources (5 sources minimum)
Prepare a thesis and and a rough outline (you can do a PowerPoint outline to get credit for both) PowerPoint and outline
Prepare notes- Read research material and take notes Notes should be taken on index cards. I would like ten index cards minimum. One side should have the notes/ the other side the source you got it from.

Write the first draft and the Works Cited page • Use MLA format • 12 font Times New Romans • Double Space • Create header with last name and page # on top right • Put name, class subject, teacher’s name, class subject on left upper corner after header
Third step • R-revise • Revise drafts
Presentations • Grade papers • Peer Evaluations
