On Site Where Are You?? • Away from American icons • McDonalds, Starbucks, Hard Rock Café • American military installations • If you’ll be apart from the group, tell the program staff: • Where you’ll be, how to reach you, and when you’ll return • Use the Buddy System so someone always knows where you are
On Site Sexual “Harassment” • Some countries haven’t a clue • If you’re uncomfortable, listen to that intuition, and find a way out • If approached, report the incident immediately to your program staff
On Site Vehicles • You do not have Westmont’s permission to operate a motor vehicle while on the program • This rule is not subject to the discretion of the program staff • Moped on Greek island
On Site Why More Rules? • Absence or injury can wreak havoc on the rest of the group • The strain of the circumstance is challenging enough • We need to discourage you from entering harm
