  9. What We Do • ss. 979, 59, HSS • Investigate Deaths per ss.979 • Order Autopsy • Assist Law Enforcement and District Attorney • Maintain Records • Provide Information • Determine/Certify the Cause and Manner of Death

  10. How We Do It • On Call 24/7 • Respond to Death Scenes • Interview Family and Witnesses/Caretakers as Available • Review Medical Records • Examine the Body • Record notes • Take Pictures
