NBC O&O Television Mobile DTV Overview • Live Broadcast TV on your mobile device…uses portion of the broadcast spectrum and the ATSC-Mobile A/153 Standard • MDTV broadcasters are organizing as the Mobile Content Venture (MCV)…a joint venture of NBCU, FOX, ION and Pearl Broadcast groups • The MCV “Dyle” consumer brand will launch later this year • 72 stations in 32 markets reaching 50% of the population • Conditional Access requiring consumer registration • Initial Devices are a Samsung SmartPhone with MetroPCS and a Belkin iPad Accessory

  7. NBC Engineering Upgrade and Expansion Overview • 30 Rock: • Existing Plant Router is being replaced with a 1152 x 1152 3G Miranda RTR • Englewood N.J. NOC: • Added 14 channels for Comcast transition of Sprout, Comcast Regional Sports Channels and the NBC Sports Network • Stamford Ct. (NHL, NBC Sports Network (Versus) and Olympic Support • New build of 4 studios: initially (2) 3500sf. (1) 5000sf. and (1) 1000sf. • Future plans for 2 additional studios, a 5500sf. and 2000sf. • New build of 3 control rooms and a mini control for .com • Future expansion of 2 additional CRs. • 39 Edit rooms: Avid, EVS and Sony Suites
