  3. God’s Word • 19 Then, the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, “Peace be with you.” John 20:19

  5. 9. Your parents are going to church and they won't let you stay at home alone.

  6. 8. There's nothing good on TV at that time of day anyway.

  7. 7. It's a great place to wear your nice clothes.

  8. 6. There's a fantastic all-you-can-eat buffet before church.

  9. 5. It's a good place to meet and visit with friends.

  10. 4. The Praise Band plays some really, really cool music!

  11. 3. You may hear a very funny joke from the Pastor

  12. 2. You have a test in school tomorrow and you need to ask God for His help. • And the #1 reason for going to church is.....

  13. 1. If you don't, you just might miss out on something really important.

  16. Before Jesus returned to heaven to be with his Father, He told His disciples that when two or three are gathered together in His name, He would be there with them.

  17. Each week we come together in the name of Jesus to worship and to praise Him. • So... what really important thing do we miss out on if we don't come to church?

  18. We miss out on the same thing that Thomas missed out on... the chance to learn with others about Jesus!
