  6. Ethernet has a great problem… a lack of determinism

  7. The problem has been solved with IEEE1588 • Allows to sincronize the internal at both extremes of the link. • The most accurate clock is selected. • Only valid for connection from point to point. • All the intercommunication hardware must fulfill IEEE1588.

Main characteristics • Specially designed to work in network. • Robust and concurrent data base (SQL). • Access to the data management by a simple web navegator from any computer of the corporate network. • Transit control of the entrance and exit of materials. • Expedition of products fed under weigher. • Management of own fleet and customary vehicles. • Prepared for the use of inductive cards. • Connection from the system to all the plant’s weighers. • Possibility of managing the barriers or traffic lights at the entrance and exit of each weigher. • Carrying out of multiple petitions of the programs in various computers. • Languages: spanish, english, portuguese and defined by the user.

  15. Web characteristics The data management module of the system is in fact an Internet server which permits to visualize, modify and print the system’s data through the web navegator. Any corporate computer serves for the data management without having to install additional software. It possesses access control for the users of the different security levels and remote access through Internet is also possible.

Conclusions • Growing expansion of Ethernet for Industrial Communications. • Net architecture must fulfil IEEE 1558. • Filed instruments must be of the web-generation and have high compatibility with existing systems (DISOBOX). • New perspectives for remote maintenance are open. • The program environment must create web applications (LOGIX). • Net operative decentralized and with simultaneous running programs.
