  2. Caveat • All information given pertains to study at the University Of Birmingham School of Medicine and Dentistry • Offered as a guide for future career planning- other institutions may have different requirements

  3. Pharmacy • GCSE English grade B and Mathematics grade A • 3 A-Levels AAB Chemistry essential plus either Biology, Mathematics or Physics • Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics ideal

  4. Satisfactory health and immunistaion • Satisfactory CRB check • Sign up to Fitness to practice Code of Conduct

  5. Applications should be Pharmacy-orientated • Healthcare based work experience • Evidence of service to others/communities • Evidence of interactions with public and patients

  6. Physiotherapy • Minimum 7 GCSEs grade B minimum, but A/A* profile preferred • Includes English, Mathematics and Science • A Levels AAB including A in Biology or PE

  7. Work Experience essential- with Chartered Physiotherapist in any area • Demonstrable breadth of research into profession

  8. Enhanced CRB check • Satisfactory health and immunisation check

  9. What now? • Do your own research- know your stuff • Is my academic progress and attainment sufficient? • Have an alternative plan
