  1. Trabajo del timbre: La organización • Pongan la tarea en la cesta. Put the HW in the basket. Fill out the Missing Work Log if necessary. • Saquen sus carpetas de argollas. Take out your binders. • Organicen los papeles. Organize your papers.

  2. Chiste del día ¡Hola! Hoy es el 21 de agosto. Practiquen: 1. Saquenla hoja del alfabeto. (Get out your ABCs sheet – it’s blue!) 2. Practiquencon tucompañero. (Practicewith your table partner.)

  3. Actividad con sus compañeros Work with your tablemates. Each person will spell his/her first, middle, and/or last name in Spanish using the purple sheet. Repeat spelling at least once. All tablemates will write down what they hear on their whiteboards. The speller will check the group’s understanding after and make corrections. Switch spellers each round. *Finished early? Take turns spelling words you see posted in the classroom!

  4. ¿Cómo se escribe tu nombre? • Se ecribe… Ejemplo: “Se escribe S-e-ñ-o-r-i-t-a (espacio) B-e-r-n-d-t.”
