From the Home tab –Select Shapes – select a rectangle. Home tab – Shapes – select a trapezoid (see flowchart symbols). Pull green circle on the trapezoid and rotate it and resize it until it meets the rectangle. Copy the first trapezoid and rotate it to make the second wall.

Make the floor and ceiling: Select a rectangle from shapes and size it to fit the upper half of the slide.
Select the rectangle you just made. Apply a texture to it. Select the Format tab. Select Shape Fill. Select texture. Pick out a texture you like.
Hang the artwork: Insert shape – rectangle for the center and trapezoid for the sides. Format – shape fill – picture. You may have to rotate the side pictures to get them to come out correctly.
To make the pictures look like they are hanging, select the picture, Format and have fun. You can change the style, the border etc.
To make the walls look more realistic: Format – Shape Fill – Gradient or select a Shape Style.
You will create a separate slide for each poem, biography and information slide as well as other museum rooms. Poem Poet Information Bibliography

To link the pictures to the poems: I am going to link the picture of the cat (slide 16) to the cat poem, which is slide 14.
To hyperlink your poems to your pictures: right click on the cat, select Hyperlink, (or Insert Hyperlink), Select Place in this Document. And select the slide that has the poem (or information that goes with this picture. In this case slide 14.

If you insert page numbers on your slides, it will make your life easier. You can always remove them at the end. Go to Insert – Select Header & Footer – Select Slide Number and Apply to all
Before you do any linking, create all your slides. Make a chart or printout (using 6 slides per page with no color) and identify which slides are to be linked. This will be the hardest task you have. Do not do any linking until you have completed all your slides and you know exactly how they are to be linked.
