The Good, the Bad, the Ugly…. The PowerPoint Itself…. Spellcheck, proofread. Font color should be easily read. Capitalize titles. Keep it professional. Slide transitions are fun but can quickly become too “cutesy.”. Slides should be readable even to the back row…less is more?

  2. The PowerPoint Itself… • Spellcheck, proofread. • Font color should be easily read. • Capitalize titles. • Keep it professional. Slide transitions are fun but can quickly become too “cutesy.”

  3. Slides should be readable even to the back row…less is more? • Respect the margin safe zone. • Keep the continuity going…if some of your bullet points end with period, keep the same throughout. • Again to keep the continuity…cap all subjects (English, math, Science, History).

  4. Public Presenting • Don’t play with your hair. • Hands to side, never in pockets. • Don’t turn your back to the audience ever. • Remember the slides should be set up to prompt you, not to be read aloud.

  5. The Good Things… • Some of the juxtaposed negative and positive pages were really professional. • Thoroughness of presentations were impressive. • Wowed by some of your professional style. Nice.
