The PowerPoint Itself… • Spellcheck, proofread. • Font color should be easily read. • Capitalize titles. • Keep it professional. Slide transitions are fun but can quickly become too “cutesy.”
Slides should be readable even to the back row…less is more? • Respect the margin safe zone. • Keep the continuity going…if some of your bullet points end with period, keep the same throughout. • Again to keep the continuity…cap all subjects (English, math, Science, History).
Public Presenting • Don’t play with your hair. • Hands to side, never in pockets. • Don’t turn your back to the audience ever. • Remember the slides should be set up to prompt you, not to be read aloud.
The Good Things… • Some of the juxtaposed negative and positive pages were really professional. • Thoroughness of presentations were impressive. • Wowed by some of your professional style. Nice.
