Main components Inauguration of raw rice distribution in 3 districts procured by CSC on Sankranthi Release of RG Dal, P.Oil & Whole Meal Atta in packet form Announcement of releasing basket of 9 commodities in packet form for Rs 185/- from Ugadi onwards by introducing 4 more new commodities to the existing 5 commodities Launching consumer awareness campaign APSCSCL
Distribution of DCP rice to cardholders • Inauguration in Karimnagar, Warangal & Nalgonda districts on ensuing Sankranthi out of 7 DCP districts • CSC procures & supplies rice to the cardholders • Cardholder assured to get local & quality rice from now onwards • Supply of Rs 25/- rice at Rs 1/- per kilo • Monthly PDS requirement – 3.20 LMT raw rice • Total cost Rs 820 cr. & subsidy of Rs 788 cr. Paddy purchase scheme • Ensuring MSP of paddy to farmer (Rate per Qtl.– Common of Rs 1,250/- & Grade A of Rs 1,280/-) • Setting up paddy purchase centres in cluster of villages • Farmer payment in 3 days • Supply of resultant rice to the cardholders APSCSCL
Sonamasuri (BPT) paddy purchase • Market intervention scheme for farmer market support and to stabilize market prices (Rs. 1,500/- per Qtl) • Resultant rice gets branded and sold in the open market catering APL families APSCSCL
Conversion to packets • 3 commodities from Sankranthi onwards • Conversion to packets • RG Dal - 1 kg packet (Rs 50/-) • Change of design • P. Oil – 1 ltr packet (Rs 40/-) • Whole meal atta – 1 kg packet (Rs 16.50 ps) • 2 commodities from Ugadi onwards • Wheat – 1 kg packet (Rs 7/-) • Sugar – ½ kg packet (Rs 6.75 ps) APSCSCL
Introduction of new commodities • Launching 4 more commodities in packets from Ugadi onwards (Village malls scheme) • Salt (Iodized) - 1 kg packet (Rs 5/-) • Chilli powder – ¼ kg packet (Rs 20/-) • Tamarind – ½ kg packet (Rs 30/-) • Turmeric powder – 100 grams packet (Rs 10/-) APSCSCL
