Teaching Career • 1909 to 1912: University of Missouri(director of physical education for women) and Chicago’s Teacher College(associate director of physical education) • 1912 to 1946: University of Wisconsin-Madison(director of physical education for women)
Contributions to our profession • Miss Trilling helped to form the Athletic Conference of American College Women. • Helped to organize women’s sports • Helped to develop undergraduate degree of physical education at Wisconsin • In 1924, the master degree program of physical education at Wisconsin was developed • Helped to develop dance education • Helped to develop the Women’s Division of the National Amateur Athletic Federation
Awards • 1930- Blanche M. Trilling scholarship at University of Wisconsin was established • 1931-Honor Fellow Award of the American Physical Education Association • 1940- Honor recognition of the University League of Madison for her achievement at the University Of Wisconsin • 1947- Luther Gulick Award
