AcrossLimits – A Profile • AcrossLimits is a dynamic SME and creative e-Business, secure payment, Internet and Knowledge Management Solutions provider based in Malta. • It was registered in 2001 as a Limited Liability Company but the team have been working as partnership since 1996. • It has representation offices in Brussels (Belgium), Athens ( Greece) and Zaragoza (Spain) • AcrossLimits is also very active on the European Programmes Front. In fact, it nowadays is one of the most reputable EU Consultancy Firms in Malta.

Our History re FP programmes • Learnt about FP5 from MCST in 2000/2001 • Applied & was called as an evaluator soon thereafter • Started as subcontractor in FP5 • Went with Malta delegation to launch of FP6 • Submitted several proposals. Rejections. Re-submissions • Got 3 successful FP6-IST projects – currently running • Nowadays regularly asked to participate in new proposals, evalutions, reviews of projects

Things we’ve learnt • No one is too small to participate in FP projects • Having only a good idea is not enough – it must be innovative in the world.. not only in Malta or in Europe • Reporting is a beaurocratic nightmare – we have a team of people who do only that! • Investment is a must – this is not a get rich quick scheme • We enjoy working in European projects!! It’s a breadht of fresh air from the otherwise mundane work
