Sexual Reproduction • A mode of reproduction involving the fusion of female gamete and male gamete which forms a zygote that potentially develops into genetically distinct offspring.
Fertiliztion • A process in sexual reproduction that involves the union of male and female gametes to produce and offspring.
Heredity • The passing of genetic factors from parent to offspring.
Dominant Trait • An inherited trait that results from the expression of the dominant allele over the recessive allele.
Recessive Trait • A genetic trait that results from the expression of two recessive alleles.
