INTRODUCTION Web Quest Introduction Task Process Cooperative learning is defined as students working together in groups with group goals but individual accountability. Each student’s evaluation depend on the collective success of the entire group in completing the assigned task. This feature helps students develop a pro-social commitment to helping others. PROJECT DESCRIPTION • Each team will read and study the handout and prepare 12 slides and present them in class for 12 minutes. • The scoring system is described in the handout. • Slide 1 must show the overview and content of the team presentation. • Slide 2 must show the history of the topic. • Slide 3 must show the characteristics of the topic. • Slide 4 must show the bibliography of the project. PROCESS Web Quest Introduction Task Process • TIMELINE FOR EACH CLASS • Day 1 Set Up Teams • You will be assigned to a team of • four members. • You will be assigned to a project. • As a team, decide which role each member will play. • Hand in the completed Team Page. • For homework, work on your own role exploring the Resources given and create your Source Document in a file. Day 2 Define and Characterize • Using the Source Document, define and characterize the topic • For homework, finish up the work and bring the result to school next day. EVALUATION Web Quest Introduction Task Process Each student in a team will be scored with three scoring systems. The team score, the individual score, and the individual speech score will be averaged to obtain the overall score. CONCLUSION Web Quest Introduction Task Process We have used the cooperative learning method to study the Health Science. We used the computer integrated approach in this study for making use of the internet website. We produced excellent Readers, Historians, Characters, and Bibliographers while completing our study.
