POLYCAST LTD’S HISTORY Following World War 2, Michael S. Gibb started M S Gibb Ltd manufacturing deck & rig fittings for the marine industry. Initially he purchased metal castings for the purpose. However in 1974 he created a new department to cast his own products. This was called Polycast Ltd after his son-in-law John Parrett who was placed in charge at the time. The present chairman Mr David Sadler then became the production manager and proceeded up the ranks. As the department grew it began to serve a diversity of other industries and independence became the right course. So 1984 David Sadler headed a management buy out and thus the current Polycast Ltd was born.
