  2. Advisory Activities Thursday, February 14th: Teachers distribute all materials. Watch this powerpoint. Watch the elective video. Review course list and confirm course selections. Tuesday, February 19th: Students return the completed Course Selection Letter with parent signature.

Transcripts • The transcript is the academic record for all courses attempted for high school credit (includes courses taken in intermediate school, correspondence, online, summer school, etc.). • The transcript you receive today is a “Working Copy”. New enrollees will not have a transcript until after they complete the spring semester.

  6. Example of a Credit Denial M or N in this area means student lost credit due to absences This student passed IPC, but lost credit in the spring semester because of absences. The student can appeal the credit denial or repeat the IPC-B.

  7. Course Selection Letter • Review your courses carefully. • Make sure you have 7 credits. (7 credits X 2 semesters = 14 request count) • Discuss with your parents. • Counselors will verify your selections with your degree plan.

  8. Complete a COURSE SELECTION CARD **ONLY** if your LETTER was blank at the top.

  9. Course Selections • Select one course from each of the 4 core subjects: English, Math, Science, and Social Studies. • List elective courses in order of preference. • List alternate electives in order of preference.

  13. Timeline • Course Selection Letters are due back next Tuesday, February 19. • Verification Sheets will be mailed in April. • The deadline for making changes is May 3.

  14. Have Questions? Need Help? Teachers can call the Counselors during Advisory. Counselors will be in the Cafeteria during all lunches on Thursday and Friday to answer questions. Your parents are welcome to call the Counselors.
