INTRAUTERINE INSEMINATION (IUI) • IUI is an artificial insemination. • In this technique, sperm is directly inserted into a woman's uterus when she is ovulating. • IUI is recommended when: a) The male’s semen sample is slightly below the normal range. b) Females with ovulation problems or mild endometriosis.   5. INTRACYTOPLASMIC SPERM INJECTION (I.C.S.I) • • ICSI is Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART).   6. IN-VITRO FERTILIZATION (IVF) • IVF refers to the fertilization process that occurs outside the human body, in a plastic dish in the embryology laboratory. IVF is recommended for: a) Patients with failed artificial insemination trials • b) Female factor, such as lesions or absence of fallopian tube, endometriosis or ovulation problems c) Male factor infertility, in which sperm count, motility (speed) or morphology (shape) does not allow normal conception d) Failure to conceive after several years of attempts Achieved IVF Success Rate of over 48%*

  11. P.E.S.A / T.E.S.A • P.E.S.A. is a technique for retrieving sperm from the epididymis. No anesthesia is required. If sperm cannot be found in the epididymis (PESA), TESA is used to extract sperm from testicular tissue.
