Option 1: Read aloud in class. • Sign up to read your memoir to your class. • Practice public speaking skills: • Formal Speech: presents work with pride and understanding • Preparation • Posture • Gestures • Eye Contact • Voice Clarity: speaks clearly so that everyone can understand every word • Volume • Pace • Tone • Flow
Option 2: Submit to Omnibus • Print a second copy of your memoir for the Omnibus staff. • Give to Mrs. Bailey, room 107, or the Main Office. • Email your memoir as an attachment to Mrs. Bailey, baileym@holliston.k12.ma.us. • If chosen for publication, the first paragraph(s) of your memoir will be printed in copies of the Omnibus for Homerooms, and the whole memoir will be posted on the school website.
