  1. What’s the most famous tale in your country? • The most famous tale in Germany is “Snow White” which was written by the Grimm Brothers. • “Hansel and Gretel”, “Red Riding Hood” and “Cinderella” come second, third and fourth place for the most famous tale.

Is there any important storyteller in your country? • Many tales which are internationally known(because of Disney…) where written by German storytellers. • The most important storytellers are: • The Grimm Brothers who have written tales • like “Snow White”, “Hansel and Gretel”, • “Red Riding Hood”, “Sleeping Beauty”, • “The Town Musicians of Bremen”, • “Rapunzel” and many more… • And Hans Christian Andersen who wrote the • “Princess and the Pea”, • “The little Mermaid”, “The ugly Duckling”, • “The Emperor’s new clothes” and so on… The Grimm Brothers Hans Christian Andersen

  6. If you were a magician, what would you change in your country? • Enough food/drinks for the whole manhood, • especially for poor people all over the world • kindness and helpfulness among the people • no mobbing and violence, especially at schools and • public places!

Is there any tale that represents your area? • Due to the fact that the Grimm Brothers • (who have written some of the most famous tales) were born in Germany, we have different places that represent a tale • (Bremen >The Town Musicians of Bremen). • In Hesseis a castle which is also known as the castle of Sleeping Beauty ( picture).

  8. Try a different ending for “Red Riding Hood” … Shortly after Red Riding Hood has reached the forest, she met a Wolf who sat on a trunk. The Wolf wanted to know for whom Red Riding Hood has packed a basket full of delicious things. Red Riding Hood remembered that her mother has told her not to talk to any strangers, especially whenever she’s alone. Furthermore she has heard about an evil Wolf who lived in the forest. Therefore Red Riding Hood fabricated a story. She told the Wolf that she has wanted to visit a friend whose parents were on holidays. Moreover she explained the way to the avertable house of her friend. The Wolfs sniffed the chance to have a delicious lunch. He told Red Riding Hood that it would be kind of her to pick some fresh flowers for her friend. Red Riding Hood thought that this was a great idea to divert the wolf and started to gather a huge bouquet of flowers.

  9. Try a different ending for “Red Riding Hood” • At the same time the Wolf set off to get to the house of Red Riding Hoods friend to eat her. • Moments later Red Riding Hood started to haunt the Wolf because she wanted to see if he would walk right into her trap. • Because of his hunger the Wolf gained speed. He didn’t realize that he ran square to a canyon. Shortly afterwards the Wolf fell off the canyon and died. • Red Riding Hood was happy and relieved. She knew that the Wolf wouldn’t hurt a creature any more. • She took her basket to set out for her Grandmother’s house. Full of joy she told her what she has experienced in the forest. After that her Grandmother put her arms around Red Riding Hood. She was very proud of her but also relieved that the Wolf wasn’t a danger anymore. Red Riding Hood spent the whole afternoon at her Grandmother’s house. Both had a great time together! • The END
