Significance of Prison • Prison is meant to punish criminals fro their crimes that they have committed and is also supposed to make them re evaluate their decisions that have landed them where they are at • The significance is pretty major because some small time offendors come out hardened thugs. Also, the rate at which they are locking people is higher than ever causing prisons to become overcrowded
