Parents may view their child’s: (Continued) • Demographic information • Medical information • Important school messages, announcements, and upcoming school events  • School calendar showing meetings and upcoming assignments • Alerts concerning your child’s attendance since your last log in • Select direct email links to your child’s teachers

  4. Just one account . . . Will allow a parent to view all their children’s information regardless of the school they attend.

  5. How Do I Get Access to the Portal for Parents? Previous ParentCONNECT users have access . . .

  6. You have a previousParentCONNECT account if you . . . • Ever used ParentCONNECT to view your child’s grades or attendance. • Ever used SRS (Student Reservation System) to: • Change any of your child’s information. • Reserve a seat in a school. • Apply for a PCS magnet or fundamental school.

  7. Forgotten your previous ParentCONNECT username and/or password? • Visit a nearby school to receive this information.

  8. How to obtain an account if you have never previously had a ParentCONNECT account? • Visit a nearby school to apply and bring a valid ID (one of the following): • Driver’s License • State ID card • Visa (not the credit card) • Military ID • Passport • Green Card

  9. With a previous ParentCONNECT account your new. . . • Username: p. (the letter p and a period)followed by your ParentCONNECT username. • Password: Your ParentCONNECT password typed in ALL CAPITAL Letters – if not at least 6 letters and/or numbers, add enough Z’s to the end to equal six characters.

  10. If you have a new account . . . • Username & Password will be given to you by the school. Type as exactly as shown (a mixture of upper and lower case letters and numbers).

  11. To access Portal for Parents: • Go to the Pinellas County Schools’ website: http://www.pcsb.org • Click on the PCS Portal icon on the home page.

  12. Or Go Directly to Portal for Parents by Typing in the Web Address: https://portal.pcsb.org

  15. To have the ability to change your password: • Click Enroll into SSRPM.
