Once again enter the SCS administrator user web interface for the target SCS 2.0 system. Go to the System, Licensing area as shown in Figure 1 of your installation guide. This time, enter the name of the Keycode file that was generated for this specific in the License File section of the screen or press Browse to search for the file on your PC or network storage location. Once the file name is loaded into this field, press the Apply button to enable the entitlements embedded in the keycode file on the target system. When the screen is refreshed, the Licensing box should now be updated to indicate the number of user accounts that can be created on the system. In order for end users on the SCS 2.0 system to use the SCS Multimedia Clients (SMC), the provided soft client keycode(s) must be entered (usually via copy and paste) into the appropriate install screen when the SCS 2.0 client applications are installed on end user PCs. These clients will not operate without a valid license keycode. Remember that clients can only install a total number of SMC clients which does not exceed the total number of user accounts on the target SCS 2.0 system. Once installed, these clients will require a connection to an external licensing server accessible via the internet in order to validate the keycode and ensure that these limits are not exceeded.

Expansion of an existing system KRS will provide you with a summary view and allow you to identify another PO should you wish to pull features from other PO’s before generating the new keycode. If there are no others, click on Go To Summary. KRS will provide a final Summary of all specified features to be added to the new keycode you are about to produce.
