  3. April 21, 2012 6 high schools/120 students from GA and SC AND 2 high schools/ 30 students from PA participated in a Mock AP Statistics Exam FREE OF CHARGE!!!!!!!

  4. Schedule 8:00am – 8:50am – Arrive on Campus check in 9:00am – 10:30am – Free Response Portion 10:30am – 10:45am – Break 11:00am – 12:30pm – Multiple Choice Portion 12:30pm – 1:30pm – Lunch 1:30pm – 2:30pm – Presentations: Careers in Statistics and Standards for Practice Exam Free Response

  5. Professional development Teachers had the opportunity to…… • learn the rubric prior to presentation • Discuss joys and concerns about upcoming exam • Provide feedback on what the university can do to help the AP Statistics program • Provide feedback about event

  7. Future Plans • We will begin soon making exam for next year • The more data we gather the more we can improve the process – thoughts on gathering students actual scores? • Ideas for funding?
