CUMMING, ARTHUR "ART" A. - 1910 - 2004 - Arthur Alexander Cumming, 93, of Moncton, passed away at K. E. Spencer Memorial Home on Thursday, February 19, 2004. Born in Havelock, NB. he was the son of the late Alexander B. and Sophie (MacKnight) Cumming. Art was a retired Automobile Dealer. He enjoyed baseball, hockey, boating and gardening. He was an adherent of St. John's United Church. He was a honourary member of the Moncton Skating Club until Parkinson disease forced him into retirement. He is survived by his wife: the former Helen M. (Rayworth) Cumming of Upper Cape, NB. sons: David Cumming (Judy) of Bathurst, NB and Paul Cumming of Fort Lauderdale, FL. USA. grand-daughter; Leigh Ann Cumming of New York City; grandsons: Michael Cumming (Jeannine) of Quispamsis, Jeffrey Cumming, Peter Cumming both of Moncton; great grandson: Alexander Michael Cumming. Art was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his sisters: Helen Fish and Rosamond (Havelyn) and by brothers: Leon and Warren Cumming. Art has requested no funeral service. Graveside and burial will be held at a later date at Fairhaven Cemetery in Moncton. Donations in his memory made to Parkinson Foundation, Cancer Society and the Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by his family.
