Going on a Treasure Hunt

1. Going on a Treasure Hunt Is it a good idea to go to the beach after a storm? It is if you want to find seashells! Aunt Toni and me took me to a beach on santa rose island after a hurricane. It was a great time to hunt for unusual shells for my collection. The wind and wavs from the storm made the shells on the ocean floor loose then the shells washed up on the beach. I walked carefuly near the water. The wet sand went between my toes. Sometimes the shells were on the sand. Sometimes thay were buried a little. Then I would dig them up and take off the sand. Found many shells. Aunt Toni told me their names. Some of thim had funny names. Aunt toni’s favorite is a conch shell She likes it best because she hears the sound of the ocean when she presses it to her ear. We love all the seashells, though. They A special kind of treasure!

3. My Bear A long time ago when I was a baby my grandma gave me a bear. It is a nice little brown bear. it has brown and blak eye’s. I’ve had it for about nine year’s. it is so old that just a little bit of haer has fallen off. It’s nose is a little pushed in. But I stell love it. I call it grandma Connell bear. Because my dad’s mom’s last name was Connell and was my grandma so I call it that. I like to sleep with it sometime’s not always’s, I like to play with it a lot, and one more thing it is nice and catley.
