Jeff’s Cellar @ Banjaran Hotsprings Retreat, Ipoh

Mr Gadget can no longer question me why I’ve never brought him to Ipoh since we finally spent a weekend in the town of “kai si hor fun” (flat rice noodles with shredded chicken). It was his birthday so I figured we could go somewhere that he’d been wanting, and so I started searching on things we could do besides eating since I didn’t know much about Ipoh. I wanted to take him to Jeff’s Cellar in Banjaran Hotsprings, so I had to make sure we didn’t binge too much throughout the day and lose our appetite for dinner.

It was his birthday so I figured we could go somewhere that he’d been wanting, and so I started searching on things we could do besides eating since I didn’t know much about Ipoh. I wanted to take him toJeff’s Cellar in Banjaran Hotsprings, so I had to make sure we didn’t binge too much throughout the day and lose our appetite for dinner. I suggested we go the outdoors early in the morning, so Mr Gadgetcould do what he likes most, drone flying. After the rain had stop, we visited Kek Lok Tong Cave Temple and took a stroll in Zen Garden before it was overcrowded with tourists. We only spent a short time in the old town after for some light makan and shopped for Ipoh biscuits to bring home for the family. We didn’t stay in Banjaran Hotsprings Retreat itself because I thought it was too pricey. Instead, we stayed in the popular M Boutique Hotel which was fantastic since the rustic décor was great for photography, and it was very close to the old town. WWW.MISSGETABOUT.COM
