All my fish came true! What a fantastic lunch date at Sushi Hibiki with Mr Gadget where my cravings for all-things-fish sorted. Wow, I must say I was really impressed with Sushi Hibiki for having my husband enjoyed the entire omakase journey curated by Chef Makoto Saito, or better known as Chef Sam without altering the course. This was how much he loved it (he tried sashimi during our last omakase meal but had the sushis torched)! Also goes to show how fresh those seafood were! To me, it wasn’t only because the food was great, but the entire experience here that made it truly remarkable.

This was how much he loved it (he tried sashimi during our last omakase meal but had the sushis torched)! Also goes to show how fresh those seafood were! To me, it wasn’t only because the food was great, but the entire experience here that made it truly remarkable. Hidden inside Atlas Gourmet of Shoppes at Four Seasons Place, some patrons may struggle to find it – just look out for the fish on a wooden signage. But from the second I entered, the intimate space and warm ambience made me feel as though I’ve been transported into a romantic speakeasy-inspired bar, housed in a quiet backstreet, with suave jazz music playing in an atmospheric setting. Colour palette and interior were kept at minimal – sophisticated shade of grey, simple warm lighting, wooden tables and chairs. This intimate dining room however, seats only 9 at the sushi counter, with 2 more tables of 4. So to speak, you should make your reservation as early as one week in advance. WWW.MISSGETABOUT.COM
