Toraji @ 4F The Table, ISETAN The Japan Store Kuala Lumpur

We took 5 minutes before walking in to Toraji for yakiniku, which translates to grilled meat. Its history was dated way back in 1995 when its first shop was opened in Shibuya-ku, Tokyo. Today, Toraji not only has outlets all across Tokyo and other parts of Japan, but also a worldwide presence. Toraji does various cuts of high quality beef and especially famous for its Japanese A5 Wagyu. Aside to yakiniku, they also serve some Korean dishes. It’s like a fusion of traditional Japanese and Korean.

Toraji seemed to have more privacy where tables were separated by colourful frames (except the bar counter/ open kitchen) and each table had its own finest built-in tabletop grill. Ventilation was not an issue here so rest assured you won’t be walking out smelling like grilled meat. I had a warm glass of Corn Tea to sober up from all the sake cleanse our palate from the food we had before and stimulate my appetite before we devour in some high quality Japanese A5 Wagyu beef.
