He designed also furniture, stuff, lamps and clothing; Wright was a writer, educator and philosopher.
THE IMPERIAL HOTEL The Imperial Hotel was set in a wood of a hill and it was in the heart of Tokyo. The structure of this building was studied to resist to fire and earthquake.
THE SOLOMON GUGGENHEIM MUSEUM The Solomon Guggenheim museum was the poetical aspect of Wright. The space is free and grows upwards with a spiral form. The diameters of spires of the six floors consent the passage of light.
THE PRAIRIE HOUSE • Interior must be a whole space; • Harmony between the house and exterior surroundings; • 3. All doors and windows must be dimensioned to human scale; • The ornamentation must not appear • imposed over on the structure; • 5. Integration between the structure and the interior system; • 6. The furniture must be integrated with • the architecture.
FALLINGWATER Wright mixed natural materials with modern technology. This house was built with a series of slabs to jump. On the main floor there is a fire-place that is the core of the composition. The fall is at the base, springing out of a a stone and concrete support.
ORGANIC ARCHITECTURE Organic architectureexalts the relationship between nature and man, the creation of a new system between built and natural surrounding. This style was independent from every classicism.
