The Lamb of God is the light of the city City of GodThe New Jerusalem Built by the Five-Fold Construction Company Apostles & Prophets Jesus Christ Rev 22:12-16 "Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to render to every man according to what he has done. (13) "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end." (14) Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter by the gates into the city. (15) Outside are the dogs and the sorcerers and the immoral persons and the murderers and the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices lying. (16) "I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star."
The Ark of the Covenant is the Pattern for the City of God Psa 91:1-2 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. (2) I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
The Tabernacle in the Wilderness is the Figure of the Corporate City of God Now each individual tent charges up the atmosphere
Living in the Presence of the Lord Heb 9:12-14 and not through the blood of goats and calves, but through His own blood, He entered the holy place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. (13) For if the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling those who have been defiled sanctify for the cleansing of the flesh, (14) how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
Cleansed Conscience • The key to having the presence of the Lord is to acknowledge the presence • Conscience must be cleansed by faith in the blood of Jesus • Not through dead works of the flesh • We are promised that He will never leave nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5) • New meaning to do not grieve the Holy Ghost.
Corporate Presence • Cleansed conscience creates a heart of praise • Each saint is an individual ark of the covenant and corporately the glory cloud grows • The presence of the Lord is the key to a holy walk. • Justification by faith alone is a very important element in a cleansed conscience
The Apostle’s Teaching • Concerning Scripture • Concerning Obedience • Concerning the Word of God & the Word of Truth • Concerning the presence of the Lord • Concerning the New Covenant • Concerning the destruction of the Temple • Concerning the leaven of the Pharisees • Concerning the strong delusion 2 Thess 2:11 • Concerning a One Fold Church for the Five Fold Ministry
Concerning Scripture Interpretation Joh 5:39-40 "You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; it is these that testify about Me; (40) and you are unwilling to come to Me so that you may have life Luk 24:27 Then beginning with Moses and with all the prophets, He explained to them the things concerning Himself in all the Scriptures. Luk 24:44-45 Now He said to them, "These are My words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things which are written about Me in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled." (45) Then He opened their minds to understand the Scriptures, Rev 5:3-5 And no one in heaven or on the earth or under the earth was able to open the book or to look into it. (4) Then I began to weep greatly because no one was found worthy to open the book or to look into it; (5) and one of the elders *said to me, "Stop weeping; behold, the Lion that is from the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has overcome so as to open the book and its seven seals."
Concerning Obedience Rom 1:5 through whom we have received grace and apostleship to bring about theobedience of faith among all the Gentiles for His name's sake, Rom 16:26 but now is manifested, and by the Scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the eternal God, has been made known to all the nations, leading to obedience of faith; G5218 hupakoe hoop-ak-o-ay' From G5219; attentivehearkening, that is, (by implication) compliance or submission: - obedience, (make) obedient, obey (-ing). Concerning the Word of God & the Word of Truth Luk 8:11 "Now the parable is this: the seed is the word of God. Phi 1:14 and that most of the brethren, trusting in the Lord because of my imprisonment, have far more courage to speak the word of God without fear. Col 1:25 Of this church I was made a minister according to the stewardship from God bestowed on me for your benefit, so that I might fully carry out the preaching of the word of God, Eph 1:13 In Him, you also, after listening to the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation--having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise, Col 1:5 because of the hope laid up for you in heaven, of which you previously heard in the word of truth, the gospel
Concerning The New Covenant Mat 26:28 for this is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for forgiveness of sins. Heb 9:17-18 For a covenant is valid only when men are dead, for it is never in force while the one who made it lives. (18) Therefore even the first covenant was not inaugurated without blood. Jer 31:31-34 "Behold, days are coming," declares the LORD, "when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah, (32) not like the covenant which I made with their fathers in the day I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, although I was a husband to them," declares the LORD. (33) "But this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel after those days," declares the LORD, "I will put My law within them and on their heart I will write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. (34) "They will not teach again, each man his neighbor and each man his brother, saying, 'Know the LORD,' for they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them," declares the LORD, "for I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more." Heb 8:13 When He said, "A new covenant," He has made the first obsolete. But whatever is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to disappear.
Concerning the Destruction of the Temple Mar 13:1-2 As He was going out of the temple, one of His disciples *said to Him, "Teacher, behold what wonderful stones and what wonderful buildings!" (2) And Jesus said to him, "Do you see these great buildings? Not one stone will be left upon another which will not be torn down." Mat 24:1-2 Jesus came out from the temple and was going away when His disciples came up to point out the temple buildings to Him. (2) And He said to them, "Do you not see all these things? Truly I say to you, not one stone here will be left upon another, which will not be torn down." Luk 21:5-6 And while some were talking about the temple, that it was adorned with beautiful stones and votive gifts, He said, (6) "As for these things which you are looking at, the days will come in which there will not be left one stone upon another which will not be torn down." Heb 9:8 The Holy Spirit is signifying this, that the way into the holy place has not yet been disclosed while the outer tabernacle is still standing,
Concerning the leaven of the Pharisees Mat 16:6 And Jesus said to them, "Watch out and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees." Mat 16:12 Then they understood that He did not say to beware of the leaven of bread, but of the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees. Mar 8:15 And He was giving orders to them, saying, "Watch out! Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the leaven of Herod." Luk 12:1 Under these circumstances, after so many thousands of people had gathered together that they were stepping on one another, He began saying to His disciples first of all, "Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy. Phi 3:2 Beware of the dogs, beware of the evil workers, beware of the false circumcision;
Concerning the strong delusion 2 Thess 2:11 2Th 2:1-12 Now we request you, brethren, with regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, (2) that you not be quickly shaken from your composure or be disturbed either by a spirit or a message or a letter as if from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come. (3) Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, (4) who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God. (5) Do you not remember that while I was still with you, I was telling you these things? (6) And you know what restrains him now, so that in his time he will be revealed. (7) For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way. (8) Then that lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming; (9) that is, the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders, (10) and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved. (11) For this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false, (12) in order that they all may be judged who did not believe the truth, but took pleasure in wickedness.
