  2. Gradebook basics: • Instructors set up two main areas in the gradebook: • Categories: can be used to group grades and help with calculation of grade; not always needed or required • Items: always needed, these are where the grades and feedback get posted for students.

  3. Weighted System vs. Points System • Weighted: • Assign 1 = 20% • Assign 2 = 20% • Quiz 1= 30% • Quiz 2= 30% Each assignment worth a certain % towards final Final = 100%

  4. Weighted System vs. Points System • Points: • Assign 1 = 45 pts • Assign 2 = 45 pts • Quiz 1= 55 pts • Quiz 2= 55 pts Each assignment worth a certain amount of points Final = 200 pts

  5. Exam 1 10% Group Elevator Speech 10% Exam 2 10% Group Project 40 Final Exam 30% Final Grade 100%
