  5. Marshmellow Challenge is a perfect way to prepare for having a conversation with a classroom about group dynamics and collaboration. Share the video with students first and then set them in groups to work on a similar task. Providing such an activity at the beginning of the year might be a good way to begin a conversation about collaboration and your expectations for class. The presentation can be repeated in the end of the year to give the students something to ponder on and contemplate over the summer to be motivated and excited about meeting the old friends and making new friends in the beginning of September back to school and make their classroom a more collaborative place to be at.
