Specialties: pastoral and spiratual care, advocacy, counseling, hospitality, and communications.

  3. PHILADELPHIA IS THE 2ND LARGES CITY ON THE EAST COAST

  4. GHANA IN WESTERN AFRICA THE EQUATOR IS LOCATED AT ABOT THE TOP OF THE FLAG. SO WHAT DO YOU THINK THE WEATHER IS LIKE IN GHANA?

  5. PHILADELPHIA AND GHANA

  6. THIS WOULD BE THE FLIGHT PATH THE SHIP WOULD OBVIOUSLY HAVE TO GO AROUND THE LAND AND INTO THE WIDE OPEN OCEAN.

  7. THEIR WORKING ENVIRONMENT IT LOOKS COLD AND WET.

  8. THERE IS PROBABLY A LOT OF THIS DONE WHEN THEY AREN’T WORKING. LOOK LIKE FUN EVERY DAY FOR MONTHS?

  9. THIS IS ALL YOU SEE EVERY DAY. IT’S PRETTY BUT NOT MUCH WOULD CHANGE

  10. UNLESS THIS SHOWS UP!!! …..

  11. AND CAUSES THIS!!! LOOKS SCARY TO ME!!!

  12. PRETTY BIG BOAT DON’T YOU THINK WHETHER THEY ARE LOADING OR UNLOADING THIS IS A BIG SHIP. COMPARE IT TO THE CAR AND THE TRACTOR TRAILER!!

  13. I AM AMAZED AT THE SIZE OF THESE SHIPS. LOOK AT THE TRACTOR TRAILERS ON THE BRIDGE AND COMPARE TO THE SHIPS, THEY ARE HUGE!! AND THE SHIP, THE STEEL SHIP, FULL OF CARGO, FLOATS!!!!!

  14. A ‘CONTAINER SHIP’ AT SEA. THE TOP DECK IS FULL AND I WOULD EXPECT THERE IS A LOT OF CARGO BELOW DECK AS WELL.

  15. OK. A LITTLE QUIZ NOW WHEN A SEAMAN SAYS TO “SQUARE AWAY” WHAT DOES HE MEAN?

  16. TO GET THINGS IN ORDER, OR COMPLETE A JOB. WHAT IS IT CALLED WHEN A SEAMAN PUTS AWAY HIS GEAR?

  17. HE HAS STOWED IT AWAY. ONCE HIS BUNK SQUARED AWAY AND HIS GEAR IS STOWED, WHAT DOES HE CALL HIS AREA?

  18. SHIP SHAPE! AND LAST…..WHAT IS THIS WEEKS MISSIONARY’S NAME, WHERE WAS HE BORN AND WHERE DOES HE SERVE?

  19. JERZY ‘GEORGE’ RATZ, BORN IN POLAND AND SERVES AT THE SEAFARERS CENTER IN PHILADELPHIA, PA. OK…..SO, WHAT CAN WE DO TO HELP GEORGE WITH HIS MISSION? HOW CAN YOU DO YOUR PART? CAN YOU GO TO PHILADELPHIA AND CARRY COATS AND BLANKETS? WELL, YOU COULD BUT IT’S NOT LIKELY IS IT? WHAT CAN YOU DO FROM HERE, OR THE COMFORT OF YOUR HOME?

  20. HOPEFULLY SOMEONE THOUGHT OF ‘PRAY’. AND WHAT COULD WE PRAY FOR?:

JUST THINK OF SOME OF THE THINGS WE’VE TALKED ABOUT. • WE CAN PRAY: • THAT THE SHIPS CAPTAINS GUIDE THE SHIPS SAFELY ESPECIALLY IN STORMY WEATHER • THAT THE SEAMEN HAVE WHAT THEY NEED, NO MATTER WHAT THE WEATHER • THAT GEORGE HAS ENOUGH BIBLES IN THE RIGHT LANGUAGES TO GIVE TO THE SEAMEN • THAT THE SEAFARERS WILL BECOME BELIEVERS FOR THE SEAFARERS FAMILIES BACK HOME.

  23. THINK ABOUT AND PRAY FOR THE SEAFARERS, THEIR FAMILIES AND THE MISSIONARIES THIS WEEK.
