Why Jesus Became a Man Save Us From Our Sins • There had to be a God-Man in order to save us from our sins. • Jesus left heaven to take on flesh and blood so we could be reconciled to the Father – 1 Timothy 1:15. • God shut down the cycle of sin in sending His own Son as the substitute for us and our forgiveness.
