  6. What is DataFinder? • a CERC web-based application that provides: • User-defined mapping; • Comprehensive national, state and local demographics; • Connecticut-specific business, real estate and municipal data.

Who Developed DataFinder? • CERC in partnership with SRC. • SRC provides integrated micromarketing systems which allows its clients to readily use demographic and geographic information to server their clients and understand their markets. • Because of SRC’s compression technology it was chosen by the Census Bureau to facility the publication and distribution of the Census 2000 summary files.

  11. Functionality of Reports • Standard Reports: • Ability to create your own report from over 1,100 data items • Ability to export the report to spreadsheet (csv) or text (rtf) formats • Reports are linked into regions selected through interactive maps
