  2. EARLY FAMILY HISTORY • Christina wasborn in 1999 in Prague • Her motherwasborn in 1973 in Prague, sheused to work as waitress, sheisaninvoiceclerknow • Her fatherwasborn in 1969, he worked as a laborer and assistantbricklayer • Her parentsweremarried. • Theylived in Prague together

  3. FAMILY HISTORY CHANGES • When Kristýna was 6 yearsold, her parents has divorced • Thereasonofdivorcewerefather‘sdrug and alcoholabusing • ThecourtruledKristyna to mother‘scustody. Thecourtorderedalimony to father • Kristýna and her mother had beenliving in Prague for ten years • When Kristýna was 10, her motherfound a new partner, withwhomshebegan to reconstructthe house outside Prague

CHANGES IN THE LIFE OF KRISTÝNA • When Kristýna was 12 yearsold, theymoved to thecountryside • K. startedgoing to thenewschool • Mother has lackoftimebecauseshetravels far to work • Thereforemotherdoesn‘ttake care enough Kristýna • Kristýna has no freetimeactivities. She just spendstimewith her friends

Behavioralproblems • whenshewas 13, Kristýna started to havesignificantbehavioralproblems • Her problemswererespectingauthority, conflictswithclassmates and teachers • Kristýna doesn‘trespectthetimeofcomingbackhome • At thistimeshestart‘s experiment withdrugs and alcohol • As resultofthisschoolcontact OSPOD

OSPOD – FIRST STEPS • OSPOD organizea case conference– oneofthemethodsofsocialwork - multidisciplinaryapproach • As a resultwas a planhow to improvesituation on whichinvolvecooperationwithmother, school and OSPOD • OSPOD recommended visit specializedinstitutionwith a focus on familyconsultations – as a educational care center • theplaniscalledindividualchildprotectionplan • MothercontactsCenter ofeducational care (Klíčov)

CENTER OF EDUCATIONAL CARE (KLÍČOV) – on a voluntary basic • Klíčovrecommendtherapyforwholefamily • Begundattending to theEducational care center, outpatient • PsychologistsworkswithKristýna‘smotivation and how to solveproblems • Theyalsofocus on freetimeactivities. Unfortunatelysheis not able to do oneactivityfor long time • Despiteofall care, theproblemsstillescalate.

PROBLEMS STILL RAPIDLY INCREASE • K‘sbehaviorisgettingworetherefore • mothertook her to Klíčov (educational care centre) fortwomonthboardingstay • As a part ofthestayis developer furtherpsychological report and establishednextsteps • Kristýna isdiagnosedwithbehavioraldisorders and abusingofmeth (pervitin) and alcohol • Disorder and abusingofmeth (pervitin) and alcohol • Aftertwomonthofstaythetherapycontinuesoutpatiently

SOLVING PROBLEMS WITH DRUGS (ON A VOLUNTARY BASIC) – September 2014 • Despiteof, Kristýna escapedfromhome, sheabused a helth (pervitin) • Sheismissingforseveraldayw, police islookingfor her • Thensheistrapped and took to thedetoxification center forchildat Cesta Řevnice • Afterdetoxsheisplacedintotherehabdrugaddiction center • Threetimessherunsaway, sheishidding in Prague, usingdrugs • Afterwardswerealisedthatshewasprostituting • Christina quitsgoing to school • Afterallofthatsheisexcludedfromvoluntaryrehab

Treatment in a specialinstitution – rezidentalfacility • the decision is compulsory - it is court order • Kristynaśmother submitted the proposial for institutional education • The court decided in her favoured and ordered IE • There is diagnostics time before boarding on Rezidentalfacility- it last two month • The stay in the Rezidentalfacilityusually ensue • Kristynadoes not want to stay in rezidentalfacility- so she is highly motivated • She cooperation with child psychologist • During weekends (twice a month)she staysoutsidetheinstitutionwithher mother - with OSPOD agreement

  12. As a result of her stay in rezidentalfacility, some new facts have been found out • necessity regulations and rules • it is necessary to give her a hand so that she is going to become independant and mature • she is fascinated by street life - peril

OSPOD meetsKristynaregulary • we talked with her during ourregular meetings • she told us that her father sold her to other man for prostitution a fewmonth ago • she told us her father gave her alcohol beverages to compel her into prostitution • she told us than after running away from home she acquired money for drugs by prostitution

  14. OUR NEXT STEPS • it's our duty to notify Police • we recommend the psychotherapist - it is often the first form of treatment recommended when these problems

THE POLICE PROCEDURE I. 2015/may • the interrogation of Kristýna was carried out • the interrogation took place in a special  Interrogation room for vulnerablevictims • the iterrogation is carried out only by police officer who is specialist in work with children • other specialistsfollow interrogate from an adjacent room • the child and adolescent psychiatry, social worker (OSPOD), judge, lawyer  • the child victim has special support and protection • children  victims has special status generally - it is called vulnerable victim • (some people are unusually vulnerable  due to age, physical or mental conditon)

  17. PUNISHING FATHER – THE POSSIBILITY OF COURT • Kristýna‘sfathercouldbesentenced up to 4 years

  18. THE POSSIBILITIES OF OSPOD • Limitationofparentalresponsibility – thiscouldorderthecourt on oursuggestion • Thiscouldalsorestrictingcontactwith her father • Reccomedtherapy • To support Kristýna

Kristýna currently (November 2015)  • Sheisbackhome and livingwith her mother, but sheisstillunderresponsibleoftheresidentalfacility • If a case ofgettingworeshealways has comeback to theresidentalfacility (halfway house) • Regularcooperationwiththerezidentalfacility • Consultationwith OSPOD • Togetherwesolvepartialproblemsthatarise • Sheisvisitingpsychologistregulary • Kristýna againjoindschools and sheattendsregulary • Theschoolshepickedisfocued in socialfield
