  2. NSF Grant, Undergraduate Researchers • Check email for job description. • Starting date: January 9, 2016 • Estimated schedule: 10 hours per week • Salary range: $9-11/hour, based on experience • Deadline for submission: November 30, 2015.

  3. BME Prospective Student Tour • 3-4 BME majors to serve on the current student Q&A panel • Date: November 19, 2015 • Time: 10:15 – 11:15am • Location: 245 Bevis Hall • Description: Volunteers would give the student perspective of what it is like to be a BME major here at OSU.   4. Columbus Metro Library Visit • When: Friday, December 4th, from 4:30-6pm • Description: K-12 Engineering outreach is in need of volunteers to teach students how to make an electro-magnet "jumping jack" that they get to keep. No experience necessary and rides can be arranged.  • Contact: Anderson.67

  5. BMES Blood Drive • When: November 23rd – 10am – 4pm • 2 volunteers each hour from 9am – 5pm (16 total spots) • Questions Contact • Alex Cetnar (cetnar.3@osu.edu) • Bernie Cook (cook.1327@osu.edu)

  6. Theta Tau Blaze Pizza Fundraiser • Help support Theta Tau by eating at Blaze Pizza on Thursday, November 19th, anytime after 11am! Present the flyer posted to the cashier and all proceeds will support BuckeyeThon • Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/events/868677359916922/

  7. President/Vice President Meeting with Dean • When: November 30th at 6pm • Where: TBD • This is a meeting for the Presidents and Vice Presidents of your organizations. • There will be food • Dress is Business Casual • There will be a link sent out for RSVP’ing

  8. Proposed Amendment • Adding 3 new positions: • Director of Special Events • Help with the planning of events • Director of Volunteering • Help with different aspects of volunteer requesting • Directors cannot be seniors. • Directors may still be the rep for their student org

  9. Next Meeting • December 1st in Scott E0001 at @ 7:30pm • Will do fund requesting at this meeting – if you plan to request please see me after meeting • Will have guest speaker – Rudy Bucheit • Associate Dean Academic Affairs and Administration • Talking about what students can do about unfair or unprofessional professors
