Projection Module • Displays keyboard template onto an adjacent surface. • Keyboard template formed by creating a holographic image with a red laser.
Micro-Illumination Module TM • Projects an infrared beam of light above the keyboard surface. • The light is invisible to the naked eye and hovers a few millimeters above the surface.
Sensor Module • Detects user’s finger interaction with the infrared beam. • Receives information and interprets the keystrokes. • Sends the information back to the device such as a PDA, mobile phones, etc.
Benefits of the BTVKB Technologies • Small size (equal to disposable lighter) allows for storage in the smallest of spaces. • Any flat surface can become a keyboard. • Efficient in power consumption • Operates with high accuracy • Low cost (around $150 now, price expected to decrease).
